Why did Diskover Data acquire CloudSoda?
Diskover acquired CloudSoda to bring together complementary capabilities in unstructured data management. The combined company is positioned to accelerate innovation across metadata analytics, data orchestration, infrastructure optimization, and AI workflows.
How will this acquisition benefit me?
You can expect continued investment in the product you rely on, along with expanded capabilities over time. The acquisition brings deeper engineering expertise, broader use case coverage, and a foundation for future platform innovation.
Are there any immediate changes to the CloudSoda or Diskover products?
Both products will continue operating independently with full support and active roadmaps. There are no immediate changes to functionality, access, or service. We will share updates on product roadmap in the next three to six months. You can expect continued investment in the product you rely on, along with expanded capabilities over time. The acquisition brings deeper engineering expertise, broader use case coverage, and a foundation for future platform innovation.
Will my support contacts or process change?
Please continue to use your existing support channels. If anything changes in the future, we’ll communicate clearly and in advance.
Will my current contract, pricing, or terms be impacted?
Your current agreements remain in effect. Any future changes will be shared transparently and with adequate notice.
Will either brand be going away?
For now, both the CloudSoda and Diskover brands will continue. We’re evaluating our long-term brand strategy as part of the integration process. We expect to share our brand strategy and integrated roadmap by the end of 2025.
Will either product be end-of-life?
There are currently no end-of-life plans for either product. Both CloudSoda and Diskover continue to be supported and developed with active roadmaps.
Will you continue to invest in both products?
We will continue to invest in CloudSoda and Diskover while we work on our integrated brand and product strategy.
Will the products be integrated? If so, when?
We are beginning to define how the two platforms can work together, but integration will take time. There is no immediate change, and we’ll communicate plans as they evolve.
Will there be changes to the release schedule or roadmap priorities?
No immediate changes are planned. Both product teams are continuing to execute on their current roadmaps while evaluating future opportunities.
Will my data or system access be impacted in any way?
Your data and system access remain unchanged.
How will you keep me informed moving forward?
We’ll continue to communicate directly through your account team and will share updates through official channels as plans develop.

Are any of the team members I work with leaving or changing roles?
The people you work with today remain in place. Should any team transitions occur, we’ll ensure continuity and communicate proactively.
