Diskover v2.1 now available…and it’s a big one!
Diskover v2.1 has been released on the web download portal for our annual subscription editions, and via GitHub for the Community Edition.

Illegal File Name Plugin
The index illegal file name plugin is designed to search for illegal file and/or directory names in an existing completed index.
Azure Storage Blob Scanning
You can now scan Azure Storage Blob using our new alternate scanner.
Improved Index Differential
The index differential plugin can now compare checksum hashes between indices.
Improved Dupes Finder
The dupes finder plugin now stores separate multiple checksums in an index (md5, sha1, sha256, xxhash).
Extra Field Harvesting
The Media Info plugin now indexes codec_tag_string field.
Tasks Running Long?
The diskoverd task worker can now be configured to send out notification emails for long running tasks.
