About Diskover Data
Your Data is Our Mission
You asked for a data management system that does much more than just search for files and Diskover is going above and beyond. With the physical work environment rapidly evolving into new complex models, exponential unstructured data growth, disparate data storage platforms, lack of visibility on what data is where and when, topped with incessant increases in expenditures related to storage cost and workers’ time, controlling data has developed into a huge challenge.
The Diskover team thoroughly explores the issues at hand and works closely with multiple businesses, strategic partners, as well as with the powerfull open-source community to address and solve your dilemmas.
Diskover Data is driven by decades of in-depth expertise and passion for data management and curation. We made it our mission to create a platform that addresses, analyzes and solves the exhaustive list of problems surrounding the current data reality.
Seeing things in the present, even if they are in the future.
About Diskover Data
Diskover was developed and designed in 2016 by Founder Chris Park, in order to fill an expanding need to visualize and curate data. After more than a decade working in the Media and Entertainment business as a Systems Engineer, he knew that there was a significant demand for data storage to come out of the darkness. He truly believed that he was onto something major, so much so that he quit his job and committed fully to Diskover.
The software first launched in the open-source community; it was important for the company to make it accessible to everyone. It was then known as Shirosaidev. With gorilla marketing efforts through Reddit and other similar platforms, Diskover became popular amongst NAS hobbyists and tech enthusiasts. The growing platform then spread into the Media and Entertainment community and has since been adopted wide-scale by all types of industries.
With the success of Diskover, the power of the open-source community, and the significant strength of the product, the company started offering the different Diskover solutions in 2019. With numerous and large companies signing on, we knew Diskover was on the path of success.
In early 2021, Paul Honrud and Marianne Zuhorski joined the Diskover team, and the company incorporated under the name Diskover Data Inc. The new team members are bringing decades of diversified expertise. “We are committed and passionate to grow this platform and business to its full potential”, said Founder Chris Park.
In summer 2021, Diskover was proud to announce their partnership with major OEMs (AJA Video Systems and RecordPoint). Diskover is also delighted to work with renown distributors (ALT Systems and Cinesys), as well as major technology partners (AWS, Quantum, Qumulo, TrackIt, and many more).
Marianne Zuhorski
CRO
Marianne has been in the tech industry for over 28 years and has held roles ranging from executive level sales to strategic alliances. Marianne excels at creating synergistic partnerships to deliver revenue acceleration, as well as figuring out the most successful route to market for early-stage companies. Marianne’s last role as VP of Strategic Alliances for DataFrameworks resulted in an acquisition by Dell. She also worked for Fusion-io as the Global Strategic Account Director where she created and launched programs to grow their HPE revenues from $0 to $80M/year. The key to her repeated success is her ability to drive relationships from the inside out while taking ownership of the partnership, build connections with key stakeholders, and find the levers to move them to embrace new, and sometimes disruptive, technologies, processes and products.
