Changes in software licensing!

Your existing license will no longer work with v2.0

The following changes affect annual subscription editions

PLEASE VISIT OUR SOLUTIONS PAGE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT USING FEATURES OUTSIDE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.

If you are and want to continue to use these features, you will need to upgrade your subscription.

The free Community Edition is not affected as it does not require a license.

Going forward, software licenses will be tied to:

  1. Your hardware ID.
  2. Your Diskover Edition – if you have been using features that are outside of the edition that you purchased, those will no longer work.
  3. The number of Elasticsearch nodes.

Steps to follow to get a new license

  1. Update to the new version and generate a hardware ID using a python script.
  2. Email us at support@diskoverdata.com with your hardware ID so we can issue a new license.
  3. Install the license as usual.

Note: If you change the Elasticsearch host/IP, upgrade to a different edition, or change the number of nodes in the ES cluster, you will need new license keys.
